  • Description

Join us for a warm and welcoming online support group meetup designed specifically for parents and caregivers of autistic children and teens.

This is a safe space to connect with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of raising a neurodivergent child. Share your experiences, ask questions, and offer support in a non-judgmental environment.

    What we'll cover:
    - Open discussion on current challenges and successes
    - Sharing of practical tips and strategies for daily life
    - Emotional support and validation
    - Resource sharing (local services, helpful websites, etc.)

    Who should attend:
    - Parents of autistic children of any age
    - Grandparents or other caregivers of autistic children
    - Anyone seeking connection and support within the autism community

    What you'll gain:
    - A sense of community and belonging
    - Practical tips and strategies from other parents
    - Emotional support and validation
    - Increased confidence in navigating the challenges of raising an autistic child

Format: This is a facilitated online meetup with open discussion. We encourage active participation, but listening is also welcome. We will have a moderator to ensure everyone has a chance to speak and that the conversation remains respectful and supportive.

Special Notes: This event is free and family-friendly. Feel free to have your children nearby, but please be mindful of background noise. We strive to create a sensory-friendly environment, so cameras are optional, and you are welcome to participate via chat if you prefer.
