Join us for an interactive workshop designed to help parents understand and support their autistic children's sensory sensitivities. This workshop will provide practical strategies and tools to create a more comfortable and supportive environment at home and in the community.

This workshop is ideal for parents, caregivers, and family members of autistic children of all ages who are looking for guidance on managing sensory sensitivities. Whether you're new to understanding sensory processing or seeking new strategies, this session is for you.

    During this workshop, you will:
    - Learn about the different types of sensory sensitivities commonly experienced by autistic individuals.
    - Identify potential sensory triggers in your child's environment.
    - Discover practical strategies for modifying the environment to reduce sensory overload.
    - Explore calming techniques and sensory activities to help your child regulate their sensory input.
    - Connect with other parents and share experiences and insights.

Format: This is a live, interactive workshop with opportunities for Q&A and group discussion. We'll use a combination of presentation, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to make the learning experience engaging and practical.

Special Note: This workshop is designed to be family-friendly. While it is geared towards parents, older autistic children and teens are welcome to attend with their parents if they are interested. We will provide breaks and ensure a sensory-friendly online environment.
