Join us for an interactive workshop designed to help parents understand and support their autistic children's sensory needs.

This workshop will cover common sensory sensitivities experienced by autistic individuals, including those related to sound, light, touch, taste, and smell. We'll explore how these sensitivities can impact behavior and daily life.

This workshop is perfect for parents, caregivers, and family members of autistic children of all ages. Whether you're just beginning to learn about sensory processing or are looking for new strategies, this workshop will provide valuable insights and practical tools.

    During this workshop, you will:
    - Learn about the different types of sensory sensitivities and how they manifest in autistic children.
    - Identify your child's specific sensory triggers and preferences.
    - Discover practical strategies for creating a sensory-friendly environment at home and in the community.
    - Explore calming techniques and sensory activities to help your child manage sensory overload.
    - Connect with other parents and share experiences.

Format: This is a live, interactive workshop with opportunities for Q&A and group discussion. We will use a variety of teaching methods, including presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

Special Note: This workshop is designed to be sensory-friendly. We will minimize visual and auditory distractions and provide opportunities for movement and breaks. A quiet space will be available for those who need it.
