This workshop is designed to provide parents and caregivers of autistic children with practical strategies for understanding and managing sensory sensitivities.

We'll explore the different types of sensory sensitivities commonly experienced by autistic individuals, including sensitivities to sound, light, touch, taste, and smell. We will also discuss proprioception and vestibular sense.

This workshop is ideal for parents, caregivers, family members, and educators who want to create a more supportive and understanding environment for autistic children.

    Attendees will learn:
    - How to identify sensory sensitivities in their child.
    - Practical strategies for modifying the environment to reduce sensory overload.
    - Techniques for helping their child cope with sensory challenges.
    - Communication strategies to better understand their child's sensory experiences.

The format will be a combination of interactive presentations, group discussions, and Q&A. You'll have the opportunity to share your experiences and learn from other parents.

This is a family-friendly event, and we encourage you to attend with your child if they are comfortable. We will provide sensory-friendly activities and a quiet space for children who need a break.
