Join us for an engaging and informative workshop designed to help parents understand and support their autistic children's sensory experiences.

This workshop is perfect for parents, caregivers, and family members of autistic children who want to gain practical strategies for creating a more sensory-friendly environment at home and in the community. Whether you're new to understanding sensory processing or looking for fresh ideas, this session is for you.

    During this workshop, you will:
    - Learn about the eight sensory systems and how they can impact autistic individuals.
    - Identify common sensory sensitivities and preferences.
    - Discover practical strategies for managing sensory overload and meltdowns.
    - Explore sensory-friendly activities and resources.
    - Connect with other parents and share experiences.

Format: This is an interactive workshop with a mix of presentation, group discussion, and hands-on activities. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your own experiences in a supportive environment.

Special Note: This is a free, family-friendly event. While the content is geared towards parents, older autistic children and teens are welcome to attend with their parents if they are interested. We will provide sensory-friendly breaks and fidget toys to ensure a comfortable experience for all.
