    Join us for an informative and supportive workshop focused on understanding and navigating sensory sensitivities in autistic children.

    This workshop is designed for parents, caregivers, and family members of autistic children who experience sensory sensitivities. Whether you're new to understanding sensory processing or looking for new strategies, this session is for you.

    In this workshop, you will:
    - Learn about the different types of sensory sensitivities (e.g., auditory, visual, tactile).
    - Understand how sensory sensitivities can impact behavior and daily life.
    - Discover practical strategies and tools to create a sensory-friendly environment at home and in the community.
    - Explore calming techniques and sensory activities to help your child manage sensory overload.
    - Connect with other parents and share experiences in a supportive environment.

    Format: This is an interactive workshop with presentations, group discussions, and Q&A. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your own experiences.

    Special Note: This workshop is family-friendly. While the content is geared towards adults, children are welcome to attend with their parents. We will incorporate short breaks and sensory-friendly activities to accommodate children's needs. This event is free of charge.
