Join us for an informative and supportive workshop designed to help parents understand and navigate sensory sensitivities in autistic children.

This workshop is perfect for parents, caregivers, and family members of autistic children who experience sensory sensitivities. Whether your child is newly diagnosed or you're seeking new strategies, this session will provide valuable insights and practical tools.

    During this workshop, you will:
    - Learn about the different types of sensory sensitivities (e.g., auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory, gustatory, vestibular, proprioceptive).
    - Understand how sensory sensitivities can impact behavior and daily life.
    - Discover practical strategies and tools to create a sensory-friendly environment at home and in the community.
    - Explore techniques for managing sensory overload and meltdowns.
    - Connect with other parents and share experiences in a supportive environment.

Format: This is an interactive workshop with a mix of presentation, group discussion, and Q&A. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences with other parents.

Special Note: This workshop is designed to be family-friendly. While childcare is not provided, quiet activities will be available for children who need them. We strive to create a sensory-friendly environment for all participants.
