Exciting research is underway to help autistic children manage their emotions! A major clinical trial is comparing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to standard care for kids aged 6-14 with autism who struggle with anxiety and irritability.
đĄ CBT focuses on teaching coping skills and changing thought patterns. This study will train clinicians to deliver effective CBT interventions.
