This workshop is designed to empower parents of autistic children with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively navigate the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.

Who should attend: Parents, guardians, and caregivers of autistic children who are currently in or preparing for the IEP process. This workshop is also beneficial for educators and advocates who want to better understand the parent perspective.

What you'll learn: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the IEP process, including:
- Understanding your child's rights and entitlements
- Preparing for IEP meetings
- Setting meaningful and measurable goals
- Advocating for your child's needs
- Understanding different types of IEP goals and accommodations
- Strategies for effective communication with the IEP team
