One exciting treatment is Zorevunersen, an antisense oligonucleotide, which has shown sustained seizure reductions and improvements in behavior, cognition, and quality of life in patients for up to 4 years. In early trials, some patients even experienced up to a 90% reduction in seizures! You can read more about it at emperorstudy.com.
There's also gene replacement therapy that has shown long-term symptom relief in preclinical studies. Other options being explored are Soticlestat, Responsive Neurostimulation (RNS), and LM22A-4. It's a really hopeful time for Dravet Syndrome research.
